The Challenge

A showroom motion that lived in spreadsheets.

BYD Serbia - the local distributor for one of the fastest-growing EV brands in Europe - was scaling a commercial motion the old way. Test-drive bookings on paper. Deal status in private spreadsheets. Reports to leadership compiled by hand on the last day of the month.

The team needed Salesforce to actually run the floor: a single system for test-drive reservations, a clean deal flow from first interest through signed contract, and dashboards leadership could open themselves instead of waiting for the IT team to produce them. Most partners they'd talked to proposed a multi-quarter program. BYD didn't have multi-quarter patience - cars were already selling.

The brief: one connected system, real workflows the showroom staff would actually use, and a delivery pace fast enough to outrun the next sales month.
